Protractor client is not a server so it does not use any stable ports.
All it requires is outgoing traffic to Protractor server on port 9417 or 9418 depending on their client version.
If they are using catalog, it also requires outgoing traffic to catalog server on port 991 (US) or 993 (Canada).
All these ports are Protractor server ports.
Any firewall and router should be configured as such although very rarely outgoing traffic needs to be configured.
