How to Update Manager SE

Before running any update, please make sure you have sufficient time for the update to run. Remember, you will need to close any workstation machines before starting the update.

Each update will include the estimated time to complete on the update prompt. Allow for more time, approximately 40 minutes, for any update that is moving from version 8.x or lower to 9.x or above.

To ensure you have the latest version, you can choose from the three options below: A ,B, or C.

  1. Restart Manager SE to check for updates
    1. Close and open Manager SE on your host machine.
    2. If there is a newer version available, you will see a prompt with notes and the estimated time for the update to install. (see example below)
    3. Click “Download and Install”
  2. Help menu at the top of ManagerSE
    1. Check for updates by clicking on the “Help” menu option.
    2. Then click “Check for Check for Updates.” (see below)
    3. If there is an available update, you will see a prompt with notes and the estimated time for the update to install. (see example below)
  3. Online at www.M1files.com
    WARNING: This method does not provide patch notes prior to running that include the estimated time for the update to install.
    1. Using a web browser, go to www.M1files.com.
    2. Then download & RUN the latest version from line 1 on your HOST MACHINE.
