Support for Windows XP and Vista ended January 1, 2016 with the release of Manager SE (v7.0). The implementation of a new scheduling module (images below, Also see: Manager SE c7.x Scheduler Config) and other functionality requires updated components that are simply not available on these operating systems
Mitchell 1 has supported older legacy operating systems (specifically Windows XP and Vista) for a significantly longer period than other software providers. Microsoft ended mainstream support of Windows XP in 2009 and Vista in 2012. Mitchell1’s continued testing of these legacy operating systems as well as current operating systems hinders our ability to continue to provide the valuable updates our customers expect and deserve.
*An unsupported version of Windows will no longer receive software updates from Windows Update. These include security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software, which can steal your personal information. Windows Updates to supported versions of Windows also install the latest software updates to improve the reliability of Windows—new drivers for hardware and more.
We are sending this notice now so that you have time to upgrade your operating system and hardware accordingly well before the policy takes effect. Current hardware requirements can be found at either Mitchell1 or Shopkey.
We appreciate your business and thank you for your understanding in this matter.
