“Main dictionary not found” Error Performing Spellcheck

Solution 1: Please see Attachment(s) below

Please note that shop mgmt program should be closed before running it. The file is also attached to this article. -Exit Manager before running

Solution 2:
Rename Vspell32.dll, Vspell32.ocx and vspeller.hlp to Vspell32.old, Vspell32.old and vspeller.old.

Then copy Vspell32.dll, Vspell32.ocx and vspeller.hlp from the Management install CD to the Windows\system32 directory. Uncheck ‘read-only’ box and checked archive on each file. Then restart the computer, run spellcheck and it should now report “Spell check complete”.

NOTE: If the field fix doesn’t work it will be necessary to re-install Manager as shown below OR call tech support (888-724-6742).

Solution 3:
Rename Vspell32.dll, Vspell32.ocx and vspeller.hlp to Vspell32.old, Vspell32.old and vspeller.old.

Then reinstall Manager to write a fresh copy of spellcheck.
