Symptom:
WIP screen goes blank on computer after 10 minutes of inactivity. The only way to get the WIP screen back is to close Management application and restart.
Versions Affected:
Manager/Manager Plus, Shopkey Service Writer/Management (all versions).
Solution:
- Check to make sure other computers on the network don’t have the same computer name – if so, make them unique.
- In Device Manager, find the network adapter(s) (NIC), right-click on the correct card and choose properties.
- Select the tab that says Power Management.
- Un-check the box that says, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, then reboot the computer.
- The problem should now be resolved.
